Meet Lumo

Lumo, the Fawnling fawn

Every Fawnling activity has a quiet companion. Say hello to Lumo.

Lumo is a young fawn. The name comes from the word for light, because Lumo is a little bit of morning light: the kind that shows up early, looks around, and is happy to find something new. That is the feeling we want your child to have when they sit down to make, play, and learn.

Lumo is curious more than clever, and likes it that way. Lumo tries things. Sometimes they go wrong. Then Lumo stops, takes a breath, and tries again. Not a teacher handing out tasks, but a friend for the journey, walking next to your child instead of out in front.

Let us find out together.

What Lumo loves

The first light of the morning. Small discoveries. The moment a hard thing finally works. Making something by hand. A quiet adventure that does not need a screen to begin. Most of all, the four best words in any activity: let us find out together.

A friend who grows with your child

Lumo is always about the same age as the child nearby. When your baby is brand new, Lumo rests close to mom. When your toddler is finding their feet, Lumo is learning to stand too. When your child heads out to explore, Lumo is out in the meadow beside them. And when they are ready for the longer path, Lumo walks it with them, one small step at a time.

That is the whole idea. Childhood is not a race. It is a path made of small moments, and Lumo is there for them.

A hello from Lumo

Hi. I am Lumo. Today we are off on a small adventure. Bring your hands and your ideas, and we will make something together. If a part feels tricky, that is alright. Sometimes I stop and try again too. And when you finish, remember this: every small step helps us grow. See you out there.

Why Lumo is here

Lumo is the friendly face of a simple promise. Less screen. More childhood. More making, more questions, more real time together.

A small fawn cannot do that alone, and neither can we. But with a parent who cares and a child who is ready to try, a printed activity can turn an ordinary afternoon into a moment worth remembering.

Childhood is not a race. It is a path.

Meet Lumo properly with a free activity, and see how it feels at your table.

Fawnling

Less screen. More imagination, discovery, and childhood.
